General Terms
1. GENERAL
These terms and conditions take precedence over all written or printed terms and conditions of the buyer. By placing an order the buyer declares that he agrees with the current conditions.
2. ORDER
All orders can be placed via the website (shop.onghena.be), by telephone or by e-mail. The buyer will receive a confirmation of his order, only then will the order be binding. For telephone orders, an email will be sent to confirm the order placed.
3. DELIVERY
Shipments to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, UK, Norway, Denmark and Germany are free. Delivery only takes place after payment. Delivery times indicated on the website are indicative and not binding. The shipment normally takes place on the day itself if the order is placed before 5 pm. The average delivery time within Belgium is 1 to 2 business days. For foreign countries this period can vary from 3 working days to 10 working days. We strive for the shortest possible delivery times. Any delays do not give the buyer the right to cancel the order or claim compensation. In the event of force majeure, Onghena Opticiens is entitled to unilaterally cancel the order. In the event of non-compliance with the points from these general terms and conditions of sale, Onghena Opticiens is authorized to unilaterally cancel the cooperation with the buyer.

5. PAYMENTS
As discussed earlier in point "3. DELIVERY ”delivery will only be made with full payment. Payment can be made online or by bank transfer via: Bank transfer, Bancontact / iDEAL / Maestro / Visa / MasterCard / KBC Online / ING HomePay / Belfius Bank / GiroPay / Paypal. As proof of payment, the buyer always receives an invoice with the delivery.
6. PRICES
The prices quoted on the shop.onghena.be website are guaranteed subject to typing errors and force majeure. All prices are expressed in EURO and include 21% VAT.
7. COMPLAINTS
Complaints regarding visible and invisible defects or the non-conformity of the requested products must be reported in writing within 14 days. The return of the products must be free of charge and therefore free of charge for Onghena Opticiens. Return shipments will only be accepted if written permission has been given by Onghena Opticiens.
8. LIABILITY
Onghena Opticiens works with products of the highest quality. By placing the order, the buyer agrees to these terms and conditions. All products are supplied with a case. Onghena Opticiens is not liable for the suitability of goods for the buyer or the resulting consequences. Also not for any technical defects. In the event of technical defects, the manufacturer of the product must be contacted.
9. PERSONAL DATA
All personal data is kept in an automated database and is not passed on to third parties. Onghena Opticiens reserves the right to use the data for its own publicity purposes. The buyer can request the data or request adjustment or removal at any time.
10. PERIOD OF VIEW
In accordance with the laws on commercial practices and consumer information and protection, the buyer has the right of withdrawal. For all non-personalized products, the buyer has the right to return them, without giving a reason, within fourteen working days after receipt, and does so within three days, whereby any shipping instructions from Onghena Opticiens must be followed. The purchase price will be refunded within 14 business days after receipt of the returned goods. This only if they were received in perfect condition as well as in a package that was sufficiently stamped. Opened, used, damaged or described packages are never taken back.

12. APPLICABLE LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law, the Court of Dendermonde has exclusive jurisdiction.
